🔒Mixed-use property in Bridgeport sells for $2M

A Bridgeport mixed-use building with ground-floor retail space and six apartments above has sold for $2 million, according to the city’s property records. Filipe Montiero, of Shelton, doing business as 865 Madison LLC, has bought the 9,744-square-foot, two-story building at 861 Madison Ave., from Weiyu Lai, of Bridgeport, doing business as East Pearl Global LLC. An email to Montiero was not immediately returned. The building, which was erected in 1993 and sits on a 0.2-acre parcel that has a 1,800-square-foot paved area, was appraised at $907,310 and assessed at $635,120 in 2024, property records show. It consists of cinder-block construction and has a gabled roof and 448-square-foot patio.
