Fortress Risk Management LLC named David Mitchell as president of the Wethersfield financial-services/support vendor.

Mitchell joins Fortress from Avon financial technology provider COCC, where he was senior vice president and chief partnership officer. He also is a former chief product officer for Glastonbury’s Open Solutions Inc.
