Mintz & Hoke Communications Group says former president Bill Field is leaving the Avon ad agency after 26 years to pursue his own marketing-communications venture.
Mintz & Hoke CEO Chris Knopf announced Field’s departure Wednesday, saying his roles as director of client services, and later president, helped shape the agency.
“From our deep business-to-business communications capability to Mintz & Hoke Media Only, a planning and buying service engaged by agencies and companies alike, Bill has played a dynamic role in the direction and development of our business. Now, we’ll be his first client. “
Field said he is forming Field Activate, a marketing and communications consulting company to work with private equity companies on “brand and marketing/sales due diligence” and as an executive coach and mentor.
