An industrial site in Cheshire has sold for $1.8 million to a custom millwork manufacturer.
RSS Millworks says it will relocate its operations to the property, at 150 Sandbank Road, to allow it to expand its manufacturing capacity, streamline logistics and improve its service capabilities to support a growing customer base throughout the U.S.
The company is currently located in Prospect, at 11 Industrial Road. Its clients include corporate offices, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, retail stores and residential projects.
The Cheshire site is set on 2.21 acres and includes a 30,600-square-foot industrial building, part of which is a warehouse with three loading docks and two drive-in doors.
At the time of the sale, the property was vacant. Previous tenants listed there include HVAC company Rankin, and the Fellowship of Life Church.
The seller was Marshall Enterprises LLC, which is controlled by the Kathleen Ann Borrelli Trust and Marsha Guarnierri Trust, state records show.
