Glen Miller has been hired as the full-time associate director of men’s basketball at the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford. Miller is working to build USJ’s first-ever men’s basketball program for 2018.
Miller will be in charge of recruiting, scheduling and managing the day-to-day operations for the startup program, working with Hall of Fame former UConn Head Men’s Basketball Coach Jim Calhoun, who was hired as a part-time consultant to the men’s basketball team and adviser to USJ President Rhona Free.
Miller’s experience includes coaching Connecticut College to a Division III Final Four in 1999 and 11 years of head coaching experience at the Division I level at the University of Pennsylvania and Brown University. He was also part of two NCAA Division I men’s national championships at UConn as director of basketball administration in 2011 and associate head coach in 2014.
