Mark Miller has joined Skanska USA Building as project director for its Connecticut office in New Haven.
Miller brings more than 21 years of construction expertise to Skanska, including serving as director of science and technology for Turner Construction Co. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including, healthcare, research, hospitality, municipal, higher education, office, mixed-use facilities and parking. Miller has also delivered various project types, such as private-public partnerships and complex industrial infrastructure projects, including nuclear and fossil fuel power/cement production facilities.
As project director, he is responsible for managing Skanska’s project teams and overseeing significant infrastructure upgrades at the Stamford Hospital.
Skanska, headquartered in Stockholdm, provides construction management, preconstruction, and design-build services. The Connecticut office’s notable projects include the construction of Oak Hall at the University of Connecticut and construction of the outpatient diagnostic building for Danbury Hospital.
