An affiliate of Greenwich’s Starwood Energy Group broke ground this week on a 16.5-megawatt solar installation at Fort Dix in New Jersey.
Starwood co-developed the project with Boston’s Energy Management Inc. Meanwhile, Westport-based True Green Capital Management LLC will own the project.
The arrays will be located on a capped landfill that was previously a Superfund site. Developers said it’s the largest military solar installation in the Northeast.
