Milford’s Platt Technical High School is set to unveil Connecticut’s fourth E-House, an energy-efficiency focused education and research lab.
The E-House initiative is an Energize Connecticut project aimed to implement an E-House in all 17 Connecticut technical schools by the end of 2015.
Platt’s new E-House will provide students with hands-on work opportunities with such green practices as solar thermal systems and cooling and lighting technologies.
This latest installment of the E-House initiative is a result of a partnership between the Connecticut Technical High School System and Energize Connecticut.
The Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund and Clean Energy Finance & Investment Authority funded the initiative.
