A Milford home renovator must pay federal environmental regulators $30,702 to settle claims it failed to notify customers before disturbing surfaces coated leaded paint.
Permanent Siding and Windows specializes in spray-on vinyl siding and replacing doors and windows.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said the violations occurred between January 2006 and March 2009.
The agency said the firm has since certified it is in compliance with EPA lead-paint notification rules and will submit a report later this year demonstrating continued compliance.
