A banquet and restaurant facility at 240 Naugatuck Ave. in Milford has sold for $780,000.
The building, located in the city’s Walnut Beach area, features a bar, kitchen with pizza ovens, and a large banquet room. It was formerly the home of Aldario’s restaurant.
Tony Vitti, a realtor with Colonial Properties Inc. in Orange, represented the buyer, 4 for 4 Properties LLC. The new owner’s principals are listed as Christopher Saley of Milford, Richard G. Jurzyk Jr. of Milford and Frank Basile of Stratford, state records show.
The three men are well-known restaurateurs in the area, involved for years in the Bridge House Restaurant in Milford.
Basile said via email Tuesday that plans for the Naugatuck Avenue facility are still being finalized.
Tom Cavaliere of Coldwell Banker represented the seller, MKC Club LLC, in the deal. MKC had purchased the site in 2016 for $1 million, city records show.
Michael Richetelli, president and designated broker of Colonial Properties Inc., said the agency is seeing continued strong demand, including in the service and restaurant sectors.
“Milford continues to thrive as a desirable city to work and live in due to its close proximity to Fairfield County, favorable tax structure and shoreline accessibility,” Richetelli said.
