Document-imaging giant Xerox Inc. in Norwalk has bought the assets of United Business Solutions, a major independent Midwest distributor of copiers, printers and other document management systems.
Xerox’s Global Imaging Systems division bought the Addison, Ill., company for undisclosed terms.
It’s the latest acquisition for Xerox. Â Earlier this year, it acquired the assets of Florida Imaging & Network Systems in Pensacola, Fla.
United, founded in 1982, will be integrated into Global Imaging’s Chicago Office Technology Group and will begin offering Xerox’s full range of office printing products.
