Workers can now scan their vaccine passports to gain entry to their offices using the upgraded Axsis entry platform from Middletown’s Reality Interactive.
The company added a health-card reader to the platform, allowing for the scanning and storage of data from Smart Health Cards and other vaccine passports, Reality Interactive announced Tuesday.
Director of Sales Mitch DeBonville said, “We see this as a key benefit for businesses who continue to work in-person or operate on a hybrid work schedule. We’re constantly working to be ahead of the curve when it comes to keeping businesses running and employees safe.”
The Axsis platform also offers temperature scanning, QR code processing, door lock integration and facial recognition. Reality Interactive’s products are used in retail, offices, manufacturing and universities.
Reality Interactive, led by founder and CEO Jim Ligotti, pivoted from digital in-store displays to Internet Of Things entry devices during the pandemic.
Reality Interactive has about 50 employees and operates at 213 Court St. in Middletown.
