A 14,000-square-foot warehouse in Middletown with expansion opportunities was sold for $1.1 million.
Trigo Realty LLC and principals Robert John Trigo and Maureen D. Dering sold the property at 60 Trigo Drive to John Crisco of Hamden-based Absolute Standards in a deal recorded Jan. 12.
The main building contains 11,000 square feet of warehouse space with 22-foot ceilings, two loading docks with levelers, a mezzanine for heavy storage, plus 3,000 square feet of office space.
The new owner plans to relocate its headquarters to the Middletown site. Absolute Standards provides measurement standards and solutions for analytical chemistry.
The 2.7-acre site offers expansion potential. An adjacent 11,000-square-foot building can be built on a foundation that has already been poured.
The property has two large parking lots as well as a wraparound driveway to accommodate multiple tractor-trailers or container trucks.
The site is located off Route 17 with nearby highway access to I-91 and Route 9.
