Middletown’s PilotFish Technology said it’s launched a subsidiary focused on its growing healthcare business.
PilotFish, founded in 2001, makes software to help disparate computer systems communicate with each other. Its PilotFish Healthcare subsidiary will focus on selling software that caters to hospitals, medical device manufacturers, electronic medical record companies, medical labs and government agencies to make interoperable the various systems they and their clients use.
The company said the need for connecting those systems has become greater as reporting requirements have increased.
