Former Day Pitney attorney Jonathan M. Shapiro has joined his family’s Middletown law practice to run its first satellite office in Stamford.
Shapiro joined his aunt, attorney Deborah D. Shapiro and her daughter, attorney Sarah H. Shapiro, in the practice started in 1975 by Daniel Z. Shapiro, Deborah’s late husband. The firm specializes in real estate matters and divorce mediation.
Jonathan Shapiro, who practiced commercial law in Day Pitney’s Stamford office for five years, divides time between the Middletown office and the new office at One Stamford Plaza, 263 Tresser Blvd.
Jonathan Shapiro has a history degree from Boston College and a law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
He is vice-chair of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and is vice-chair for the Greater Fairfield County Board of the Connecticut Chapter of the March of Dimes.
