Middletown homecare provider acquires Essex residential care home

Middletown-based ChangeInc, a provider of non-medical home care and behavioral services, has acquired a residential care home in Essex.

Meadowbrook Manor, which serves 25 people, will now operate under the ChangeInc umbrella, company officials said.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Marcus Steinle, director of facilities at ChangeInc, said the company will work with Meadowbrook employees to improve the experience of residents and enhance the facility’s environment and aesthetics.

ChangeInc provides services such as homemaking, personal care, case management and counseling. It also operates outpatient behavioral health services.
