Middlebury-based Velocity Print Solution has purchased enough renewable energy credits to offset 100 percent of its electricity use.
The purchase of 900 megawatt hours of RECs from Colorado-based Renewable Choice Energy is the equivalent of planting 12,152 trees or taking 99 passenger cars off the road for a year.
Velocity also maintains an in-house paper and corrugated cardboard recycling program.
The company also has offices in Boston and Albany, N.Y.
