Former First Lady Michelle Obama will participate in a moderated conversation at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford Nov. 16.
The Bushnell and the Connecticut Forum are presenting the 7:30 p.m. event to the public. General public tickets go on sale Oct. 10 at 10 a.m.
David R. Fay, president and CEO of The Bushnell, and Doris Sugarman, the Forum’s executive director, called the event a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity for people to hear from “one of the world’s most influential women.”
Michelle Obama, wife of former President Barack Obama, served as first lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017. Programs she helped launch include Let’s Move!, Joining Forces, Reach Higher and Let Girls Learn.
