The award honors economic development initiatives that recognize innovation in economic development through the deployment of new media formats.
Webster Bank's James Higgins, vice president and manager of its banking center in Waterbury, received the 2017 Volunteer of the Year Award at the 23rd annual Malcolm Baldrige Awards dinner. Higgins is the current secretary of the chamber's Young Professionals Organization.
