Meriden Red Roof Inn changes hands for $5.8M

The Red Roof Inn hotel in Meriden has been sold for $5.8 million.

Om Sai Harsh LLC and principals Manish and Zankhana Patel bought the property at 10 Bee St., from Meriden Lodging Association LLC, with manager Shailesh Patel, in a deal recorded Dec. 19.

The four-story, 50,000-square-foot hotel has 124 rooms. It was built in 1988 and has an appraised value of $3 million.

The hotel was last sold in 2013 for $4.25 million, with Om Sai Harsh LLC listed as the buyer. The seller was W2007 Eqi Meriden Partnership.

The hotel is located in a busy commercial area of Meriden, just off Route 15 near the Interstate 91 connector and close to another hotel.
