National settlement advisor consultancy Ringler said it has named Brian M. Farrell Jr., a Meriden-based advisor, as chairman of the company.
Farrell’s new position is part of the company’s succession plan as outgoing Chairman Ross Duncan retires from the board, the Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based company said.
Elected vice chairman of the board last year, Farrell joined Ringler in 2009, and has managed the Ringler’s Connecticut operation. His expertise centers around post-settlement planning, as well as in the property casualty claim industry, including management of multiple field office settings with Travelers Insurance and Aetna Life and Casualty.
Duncan had served as Ringler’s chairman since 2012, having joined Ringler in 1984.
