Wholesale insurance broker Mercator Risk Services, with operations in Hartford, and its parent Preferred Concepts LLC will begin offering loss coverage to new and used car dealers and repairs shops through retail brokers.
Preferred Concepts says it launched an automotive industry underwriting unit, SeaFire Insurance Services.
SeaFire will provide retail agents with insurance products from the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies to serve the automotive industry segment.
