Megabus.com, Peter Pan team up to expand travel options

Megabus.com, one of the country’s largest bus companies, has partnered with Peter Pan Bus Lines to offer daily round-trips from New Haven to various locations throughout the Northeast.

According to Colin Emberson, vice president of commercial for Megabus.com, the new service launched in New Haven on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

Two daily round-trips departing from Union Station in New Haven, located at 50 Union Ave., are now available to riders, and will take them to Hartford, New York City, Providence, Rhode Island; Worcester and Boston, Mass., according to Emberson.

“Megabus is always looking for ways to expand our service offerings to provide our customers with additional travel options,” Emberson said. “This partnership allows us the opportunity to offer enhanced service between New York and Boston including trips to and from New Haven.”

“This partnership will allow us to expand our growing network once again,” said Burtwistle. “It’s very exciting to be able to team up with Peter Pan to offer even more travel options to our customers in the new year.”

Peter Pan Bus Lines’ CEO Peter Picknelly said the partnership means increased service for travelers between Boston and New York City, as well as destinations throughout the Northeast.
