New Haven BIZ has announced the six winners of its 2020 Women Who Mean Business awards, which recognize outstanding achievement by female leaders throughout the region.
As executives, entrepreneurs and leaders, women play a more important role in the economy and the public life of New Haven and Connecticut than ever before. While there are thousands of female leaders, and their numbers are growing daily, some stand out from the crowd because of their achievements and commitment to lead by example and encourage others on the path to success.
The second annual awards program generated a multitude of nominations for many worthy women who excel in their fields.
New Haven BIZ will honor the achievements of six women at a virtual event to take place in November. They also will be profiled in an upcoming issue of New Haven BIZ’s print magazine.
