This year’s Hartford Business Journal 40 Under Forty honorees are doing exactly that.
Meet the 2026 40 Under Forty class
Representing industries ranging from manufacturing, healthcare and financial services to law, technology, real estate and government, the class of 2026 is already making a significant impact. They are launching companies, leading major projects, managing large teams, strengthening communities and helping Connecticut’s economy grow.
The 40 Under Forty program recognizes professionals who have distinguished themselves through leadership, professional achievement and community involvement before reaching the age of 40. For nearly three decades, it has highlighted the individuals who are helping define Connecticut’s future business landscape.
This year, Hartford Business Journal received more than 200 nominations. After careful review by an independent panel of judges, 40 professionals were selected from organizations of all sizes across the public, private and nonprofit sectors.

We will be celebrating our annual 40 Under Forty event on Sept. 17, at the Aqua Turf Club in the Plantsville section of Southington.
