Expecting better-than-projected enrollments in its Medicare Advantage business, Hartford insurer Aetna has raised its 2014 operating revenue outlook by at least $1 billion.
At a healthcare conference today, Aetna CEO Mark. T. Bertolini is slated to increase the company’s2014 operating revenue projection from $53 billion to at least $54 billion, the company said in a financial filing.
That’s up from an expected 2013 total of $47 billion.
Aetna is also reaffirming its 2013 operating-earnings-per-share projection of between $5.80 and $5.90.
