Medical practice acquires W. H. office

Internal Medicine of Greater New Haven has acquired 5,838 square feet of office space at 98 Elm St., West Haven from CA Realty Company LP for $502,000.

Carl G. Russell, CCIM, SIOR, senior commercial broker with Pearce Commercial in Milford, represented the buyer, while the seller was represented by Jed Backus of Backus Real Estate in Hamden.

Cheshire Shopping Center gets $6M refinancing

Washington Trust’s Commercial Real Estate Group recently provided $6 million to Cheshire-ILR LLC, for the refinancing of the Cheshire Shopping Center and a CVS outparcel in Cheshire.

Both the shopping center and pharmacy are located at 830 South Main St. (Rt. 10), Cheshire. Cheshire Shopping Center sits on nine acres and houses 12 retail spaces with more than 68,000 square feet of retail space. Current tenants include Advance Auto Parts, the Cheshire YMCA and several local businesses. The adjacent parcel is a 13,013- square-foot CVS Pharmacy constructed in 2007.

Cheshire-ILR LLC is a Connecticut limited liability company owned by Tartaglia Commercial Properties, one of Connecticut’s largest privately held real estate development companies.

Washington Trust’s Commercial Real Estate Group provides commercial real estate mortgages for the construction, refinancing or acquisition of investment real estate projects.
