To The Editor:
Jonathan O’Connell’s one-sided article on “Dealing with the Elephant in the Room” provides descriptions of abuse of these animals by Ringling, but supports the organization nonetheless. I realize you are a business journal, but your stance seems to be that any business is sacrosanct and this is carrying things too far.
It’s interesting that all mainstream media march in lockstep in supporting animal-abusive businesses and industries, putting profit above all.
