Incisive Media, an international business-to-business media publisher and owner of the Connecticut Law Tribune, imposed a hiring freeze across the group this week. Incisive’s CEO, James Hanbury, said the company will look to use new talent within the group before looking outside, but said characterizing it as a “jobs freeze” was an overstatement. Earlier this year, business-to-business publisher Reed Business Information also announced a recruitment freeze in response to what it called “challenging” trading conditions.
