Vernon banker William McGurk is one of five business leaders and organizations being inducted Friday into the Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame.
McGurk, who retires June 30 as CEO of Rockville Bank, joins Comcast regional Senior Vice President Doug Guthrie; Goodwin College in East Hartford; Manafort Brothers in Plainville; and Hartford’s Community Renewal Team in the 2010 class.
State Comptroller Nancy Wyman and Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz will give the keynote, said Ron Dresner, director of the Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame and president of Dennis PR Group.
The ceremony is from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Connecticut Laborers’ Council Offices, 475 Ledyard St. in Hartford.
