McGovern named acting director of development services

In November Mark K. McGovern will take over as Hartford’s acting director of development services, replacing John Palmieri, who is set to take a similar post in Boston. Currently McGovern is the director of economic development in Hartford, where he has been since 2005, after Hartford’s department of development services was restructured. Previously, McGovern was the acting executive director of the Hartford Economic Development Commission, which he joined in 2000.
