Farmington Bank and its parent First Connecticut Bancorp Inc. Wednesday elected two members to their respective boards of directors.
Patience P. “Duby’’ McDowell, of Hartford, was elected to the bank’s board, while James T. Healey Jr., of West Hartford, is on the parent’s board, First Connecticut and Farmington Bank Chairman John Patrick Jr. said.
McDowell, 54, a former TV correspondent and current political analyst for WFSB’s “Face the State’’ issues broadcast, is president of McDowell Jewett Communications, a strategic communications firm that she founded in 2006.
She is a trustee of the Mark Twain House & Museum and in the past has served on the boards of the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame, the Hartford Region YWCA and Riverfront Recapture. She is a corporator of Hartford Hospital.
Healey, 54, served a nearly 30-year career with banking-advisor Keefe, Bruyette and Woods Inc. before retiring in 2012 as senior vice president in its Hartford office.
His past and present community involvement and board memberships include the Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut, Saint Francis Hospital Foundation, Kingswood-Oxford School, Connecticut State Golf Association and Security Traders Association of Connecticut.
Correction: The original version of this story gave an incorrect position for McDowell on ‘Face the State.’ She is a political analyst for the show.
