Melissa McDermott has been promoted to head of pricing for global lines in Hartford for XL Catlin’s insurance operations. McDermott will be responsible for driving portfolio and technical excellence across the global lines portfolio. As part of this role, she will sit on the pricing leadership team as well as the global lines leadership team.
McDermott has 20 years of reserving and insurance pricing experience, and joined XL Catlin seven years ago in actuarial financial reporting. She most recently was deputy head of pricing for the North America business group.
