Manchester Community College graduates who earn an associate degree in accounting and business administration will be guaranteed admission to the University Of Connecticut School Of Business under a recently signed agreement.
The Business & Technology Transfer Pathway program will provide MCC students guaranteed admission to UConn School of Business regional campuses located in West Hartford, Waterbury or Stamford. MCC students must complete an associate degree in accounting and business administration and have at least a 3.0 grade point average in approved business courses.
Students admitted to UConn School of Business will major in business and technology and, ultimately, earn a bachelor of science degree in business.
Currently, MCC has 353 students enrolled in the accounting and business administration degree program.
“We see this agreement as a partnership that is not only great for the students at MCC and the UConn School of Business, but for the State of Connecticut,” said Gena Glickman, president of Manchester Community College. “We are expanding access to higher education for our students who, in turn, will become major contributors to the vitality of our economy.”
