The Max Hospitality group is opening a new Max Burger location in Avon.
The restaurant group currently owns Max Burger locations in West Hartford and Longmeadow, Massachusetts. The brand first debuted some 17 years ago.
The new restaurant at 70 East Main St. in Avon will open its doors September 15. It will be led by Managing Partner James Stone.
Max Hospitality has a long history in Avon.

Until last year, the East Main premises was the longtime home of Max a Mia Ristorante. That restaurant has now relocated to 380 West Main St. When it debuted in 1991, Max a Mia was only the second location opened by Max Hospitality, just a few years after its original Hartford restaurant.
