Norwalk products promoter ASAP Inc. has been sold to Massachusetts rival, Grossman Marketing Group which has Hartford operations.
Family-run Grossman said Tuesday it paid an undisclosed sum for ASAP, now a division of the 103-year-old, Somerville, Mass., print and promotional products company.
Grossman’s Hartford office is at 10 Midland St.
This deal widens Grossman’s presence in Connecticut and New York, officials said, plus adds new clients, including Diageo, Reed Exhibitions, PepsiCo and Norwalk Hospital, to the fold.
Product promoters use printed flyers, brochures, coffee mugs, mousepads and other marketing materials to help clients establish their brands’ dominance in the marketplace.
