Massachusetts business software vendor Green Beacon Solutions has opened a new, 11-employee office in Meriden, saying it has grown headcount in the company by nearly 50 percent since the beginning of the year, MassHighTech.com reports.
In a statement, the Newton, Mass., company said the new office will serve customers in between its Newton and New York City offices. Green Beacon also has a Houston, Texas office, making the Meriden, Conn. office the company’s fourth.
CEO Benjamin A. Holtz said several new business opportunities identified in the first half of 2012 have led to a 48 percent increase in headcount to 61.
