Worcester insurance-defense law firm Hassett & Donnelly P.C. has stationed two full-time attorneys in a new Hartford office at 100 Pearl St. downtown.
The firm, located on the 14th floor, concentrates in complex civil litigation; product liability and toxic tort litigation; insurance coverage; and construction.
Hassett & Donnelly is tied for eighth on the Worcester Business Journal’s 2011 ranking of that city’s largest law firms.
Managing Partner David F. Hassett says the firm’s expertise handling insurance coverage cases and bad faith claims makes Hartford a natural location for the growing firm.
In Hartford, attorney Peter G. Barrett’s practice will focus on the defense of general liability claims, including motor vehicle claims and construction site injury claims, the firm says.Â
