The Trumbull Marriott Shelton, a 319-room, five-story hotel near the Stratford line, has sold for $5 million, according to property records.
IH Trumbull LLC, controlled by Harnish Patel, has bought the 329,890-square-foot building from Parallel Post Real Estate LLC, of Rockville, Maryland. Patel is a principal with New Brunswick, New Jersey-based Infinity Hotels.
An email to Infinity Hotels was not immediately returned.
The seller was Parallel Real Estate Partners, which purchased the building — built on an 11.8-acre parcel in 1986 — in 2007 for $28.3 million, property records show.
The property was appraised at $11.3 million and assessed at $7.92 million in 2023.
