The Marketplace in Madison, an 18,030-square-foot retail/office property at 1347 Boston Post Rd., has been sold. Robert Van Ancken paid $2,795,000 to acquire the property from 1347 Marketplace LLC. The transaction closed May 31. The property is a two-story, mixed-use building sited on 1.21 acres adjacent to Hammonasset State Park. Frank Hird, SIOR, and Phil Marshall of OR&L Commercial represented both parties to the transaction.

Opening of Pearce’s newest office on the Milford Green
Barbara L. Pearce, CEO and chair of Pearce Real Estate, announced the grand opening of the newest location for Pearce Real Estate, its Milford office located on the Milford Green at 122 Broad Street. “We are excited to be expanding into beautiful new space right on the historic Milford Green, and to be increasing our commitment to the greater Milford area,” said Pearce in a statement. “In addition to our strong commercial brokerage presence, we are planning to add local residential agents as well,” she added.

Schutz Dental Group, d/b/a SDG Innovations Solutions for Dental Technology, has leased a 1,600-square-foot unit at 132 Pepes Farm Rd., Milford. The company, headed by president John Schaible, will use the leased premises for the storage and distribution of dental supplies and equipment. The landlord, D’Amato Investments LLC, was represented by Bill Clark of the Geenty Group, Realtors. John Bergin of H. Pearce Co. in Milford represented SDG in the transaction.
