Hartford’s Mark Twain House & Museum has promoted Kimberly Beal to the newly created position of Tourism Outreach Coordinator and named Julia Pistell as director of writing programs.
Beal has been a guide for the past two years and will now focus on tourism outreach. Pistell has been a membership associate and has established a program that attracts writers to the museum from around the country. In her new role, she will oversee a national writing contest.
