Marijuana patient registrations progressing

The list of medical marijuana patients in Connecticut has grown, the state’s Department of Consumer Protection revealed this week.

As of Oct. 28, 1,208 people with doctor certifications have registered with the state. That number is up about 30 percent since August.

The county with the most patients so far is New Haven County, with 380. Fairfield County is second at 295, and Hartford County is third with 230.

The DCP has set a Nov. 15 deadline for applications from would-be growers of the drug.
