Michael K. Brooder has been named partner-in-charge of Marcum LLP’s downtown Hartford office.
Brooder, a certified public account and certified construction industry financial professional (CCIFP), will oversee all operations of the office in CityPlace II, including business development, administration and production.
He replaced John Schuyler, effective May 1. Schuyler remains in Hartford, heading Marcum’s assurance services New England practice.
Meantime, Brooder will continue his practice development activities in the firm’s assurance services division.
He joined Marcum in 1999 and has more than 15 years experience conducting, reviewing and analyzing financial data for publicly-traded and privately-held companies in various industries.
He is a member of the Association of General Contractors, the Connecticut Construction Industry Association, the Construction Financial Management Association, and the Construction Institute.
