New York accounting firm Marcum LLP is boosting its Connecticut presence with the acquisition of a 37-person accounting firm in New Haven.
Marcum has agreed to acquire the accounting, tax and consulting firm Konowitz, Kahn & Company.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
All seven partners and thirty additional employees from Konowitz, will join the New England practice of Marcum and work out of Marcum’s New Haven office.

Marcum first entered the Connecticut market in 2010 when it acquired the 150-member New England practice of UHY Advisors Inc. – including its Hartford, New Haven and Boston offices.
