The Connecticut Convention Center will again play host this year to the Mfg4 conference, which brought manufacturers from 42 states to Hartford during the biennial event’s inaugural conference in 2012.
The May 6-8 conference is organized by SME, a nonprofit formerly known as the Society of Mechanical Engineers. Local partners include the Connecticut Business and Industry Association, Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Connecticut Innovations and the Connecticut Technology Council.
SME said the aerospace, defense, medical, and micromanufacturing industries will be in attendance this year.
Lyn Gambill, chief engineer of manufacturing engineering and global service at Pratt & Whitney, is listed as one of a handful of keynote speakers.
