Aerospace components maker Spartan Aerospace LLC is looking to add a 20,000-square-foot addition at its headquarters in Manchester.
The manufacturer, listed at 41 Progress Drive LLC, has asked the town’s Planning and Zoning Commission to approve the proposed expansion on the east side of its 5.4-acre industrial site, in addition to new parking and a reconfiguration of its loading area.
In particular, a special exception modification and erosion and sedimentation control plans would need to be greenlit before the expansion commences.
The town’s zoning commission is expected to discuss the proposal Monday at 7 p.m.
Spartan could not immediately be reached Monday morning for additional information about its plans.
Last year, the town granted Spartan a special exception to allow for additional parking exceeding 60 parking spaces. Upon completion, its parking lot will be increased to 112 spaces.
Spartan’s facility currently spans over 66,000 square feet, according to the town assessor’s office.
