A subsidiary of Manchester filtration-products and specialty fibers maker Lydall Inc. said it sold off its Canada-based business that installs geosynthetic products.
Officials announced Friday that Texel Technical Materials Inc. divested Texel Geosol Inc. of Quebec, Canada, for an undisclosed sum. Texel Geosol installs geosynthetic products in the civil engineering and environmental protection sectors.
Lydall CEO and President Dale G. Barnhart said the divestiture follows the Manchester company’s strategy to focus on improving its positioning as a specialty-materials provider.
