AdChem Manufacturing Technologies of Manchester has been named Connecticut’s Exporter of the Year for its global growth in its aircraft engine repair and overhaul operations, authorities say.
AdChem employs 44 workers, including five added this year to support its export efforts in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Congressman John Larson, D-1st District, and Anne Evans, Connecticut director of the U.S. Commerce Department, are scheduled to honor the company and President Michael Polo at a ceremony 10 a.m. Wednesday at AdChem’s 369 Progress Drive headquarters.
