Manchester-based Allied Printing Services plans to install a 4,591-panel solar array on the roof of its 275,000-square-foot facility by the end of June.
The 1,400 kilowatt system will provide 17 percent of Allied’s total electrical usage, which is enough to power 145 homes annually.
New York City-based EnterSolar will design and install the new system.
Although financial terms were not provided, Allied expects to receive a return on investment from the system in less than five years.
