Manchester Memorial Hospital has renewed its three-year contract with a Dallas email encryption service that protects its patient data.
Terms of the contract renewal with ZixCorp were not disclosed.
The hospital signed on with ZixCorp in 2004 to comply with federal regulations safeguarding the privacy of patient information, the company said.
Manchester Memorial is part of the Eastern Connecticut Health Network.
